Ruby Bridges is one of the girls that helped end segregation in public schools. She grew up in the 1960's during the civil rights movement. And was born in the 1950's. The reason why her life was significant was because when she was six she ended segregation in public schools. during that time her and her family went through alot and got alot of trouble from people.
